Summer language courses in Germany and GRMN3119
Summer courses can only be recognized as "Overseas Immersion Language Course - German" GRMN3119 if:
a. the level of the summer course attended builds on the level attained during Year 2 at HKU
b. students provide a graded certificate after the successful completion of the summer course
c. they are offered by a university
d. if they are not shorter than 3 weeks

Announcement regarding application procedures of GRMN3119 will be emailed to eligible students around mid-August. Students can also access the School or German website for details. Applications by email are also accepted. Students who are on exchange during the application period and/or the academic year following their summer language courses and who are therefore not able to enroll into GRMN3119 in the 2nd Semester are still required to submit their applications before the specified deadline. They may enroll to GRMN3119 after their exchange or in the academic year following their exchange. Late application will not be considered.

Deutschkurse bei der Universität München e.V. is a non-profit organization (registered under No. VR Nr. 8143 the Munich District Court). It runs German language courses in accordance with the articles of association, which have existed as "German courses for foreigners at the University of Munich" since 1952."
